Driving Privileges and the UCMJ: Your Military Career May be Impacted by Your Civilian Driving.
The interface between civilian and military justice systems is far better than it has ever been. If you are a soldier/sailor/marine/airman, you really must be a good citizen on the road. If you have problems, take care of them in court. The military has taken a much greater interest in outstanding civilian warrants. If you don't attend to your driving problems, however serious they may be, they will impact your military career.
If you have questions about where to start and are stationed far from the place of your traffic problems, call us for a strategy session at no charge. Our toll free Number is 800 245 2294.
A Personal Transition and Thanks for the Memories
A few months ago, I decided my practice was no longer consistent with my public service as A Special Assistant Attorney General so I presented my resignation to perhaps the greatest of all Attorneys General I have served, Lisa Madigan. The memories of these years and the friends I have made are beyond description.
A special thanks to every elected Attorney General in Illinois in the '70's '80's, 90's and 21st Century. I've served them all: Bill Scott (R), Neil Hartigan (D), Roland Burris (D), Jim Ryan (R) and Lisa Madigan (D). It was a privilege to serve each of these leaders in the Great Office. I will always carry the honor of their confidence with me in everything I undertake.
